Configure Validators
Before you can start receiving alerts from StakeSafe Alert, you need to subscribe to one or more validators. This is a crucial step in customizing the alerts to suit your specific monitoring needs.
Subscribing to Validators
- Go to Validator Dashboard in the menu on the left.
- Find Validators: Search for your preferred or managed validators in the provided list.
- Subscribe: Once you find the validators of your choice, click on the 'Subscribe' button next to their names.
You can unsubscribe from a validator by clicking at Unsubscribe next to a subscribed validator. Click at Show Details next to a validator to visit the validator details with live proposal information on our Radix Network Dashboard.
Setting Alert Thresholds
After subscribing to a validator, default Alert Thresholds are immediately applied. However, you have the flexibility to fine-tune these settings according to your requirements.
- Access Threshold Settings: Next to your subscribed validator, click on "Set Alert Threshold".
- Missed Proposals Threshold: Number of missed proposals in an epoch to trigger an alert for this validator (default: 1).
- Recent Uptime Threshold (%): Threshold of the recent uptime (4032 epochs) to trigger an alert for this validator (default: 99.9%).
- Alert Type: You can configure alerts for two scenarios:
- Missed Proposals Alert: This is the default setting. You'll receive an alert when the validator misses a proposal, crossing the pre-set threshold.
- Recent Uptime Alert: Opt for this to get alerts when the validator's recent uptime falls below the set threshold.
- Cooldown period: This cooldown period ensures that StakeSafe Alert provides you with essential alerts without overwhelming you with frequent notifications.
- Minimum Period: The cooldown period is set at a minimum of 5 minutes by default.
- Customization: You can adjust this period anywhere between 5 to 120 minutes according to your preference.
