Radix Validators

StakeSafe hosts two validators for staking your tokens on the Radix Olympia Mainnet. At our website https://www.stakesafe.net/ you can see the live status of our validators.

In collaboration with a genesis crew member we used to host a 3rd validator "StakeSafe Genesis". StakeSafe Genesis did an amazing job in terms of uptime. It made 637.439 proposals and only missed 38 since the second epoch of the Radix network. A historic uptime of 99,9940% has been accomplished until today. We are very proud of these results.

We will stop promoting this node from now on and make this spot available for another validator in the interest of decentralisation of the Radix network. Please move your stake to StakeSafe Amsterdam or StakeSafe Rotterdam. If you send us your wallet address, we will compensate your loss (500 epochs).

SLA level#

For our Radix Validators our SLA level Always 24/7 99,99% is applied. This excellent SLA level guarantees a downtime of less than one hour per year. We achieve this with the following safety measures:

  • For every validator we run a dedicated backup node available in a seperate availability zone
  • Our validators are being monitored every second. Failures of our validators are automatically detected and a fail-over procedure will be started within seconds
  • A network engineer is alerted in case of a failure and will start to identify the issue

Fee for our validators#

We believe trust cannot be taken for granted, but should be earned instead. Therefore we offered a really low starting fee of 1.0% at the start of the Radix Olympia Mainnet which was increased in two small steps based on the value we delivered. The current fee is 2.0% with a fantastic historic uptime since the start of the mainnet of >99,99 %.

The fee for using our validators is 2%. When you stake for example 1000 XRD with us and the network gives for this stake in one year 300 XRD of emission rewards, you will receive 294 XRD and we receive 6 XRD fee (2 % of 300 XRD). This is automatically distributed by the Radix network.

Non-custodial staking#

When you stake your XRD tokens with a validator of StakeSafe your tokens always stay safe inside your Radix Wallet. Your tokens are delegated to our validator until you unstake. We cannot touch or send your tokens. This is called non-custodial staking.

We will never ask for your (private) keys or to send your tokens to us. Please be very careful for scammers.
